Monday Meme: the INTERNET

It's important to be safe on the internet. There's a lot of bad stuff floating around on there. But there are a lot of uses for the internet, and it can be really helpful. Here are a few YA novels that utilize the internet in some way or another.

The Future of Us- Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler: When ex-friends discover Facebook- which hasn't been invented yet- and find their profiles from the future, every decision they make changes their future. With that kind of power and knowledge, what will they do? Find out here in The Future of Us.

Girl Online- Zoey Sugg: A book about a girl with anxiety, a crush, and a blog, Girl Online is written by a real Internet star and deals with the way the Internet can affect our lives- especially when we put our lives on it for everyone to see. Little Brother- Cory Doctorow: So it isn't technically the Internet, but it's cyberpunk and technology based. When being in the wrong place at the wrong time- and hacking into the wrong system- gets them in serious trouble, this group of friends has to take down the Department of Homeland Security- now a ruthless interrogation machine- themselves, when no one will believe their story. Click here to see if they succeed.
