(Okay, technically it's a gif)
But NO, not that Red Queen. The novel by Victoria Aveyard that blew apart the NYT Bestseller list early this year. Here are a few picks that'll get you through to the release of Glass Sword in February.
Princess of Thorns- Stacey Jay: A fast-paced thriller about Sleeping Beauty's daughter, Princess of Thorns is a story about a girl's quest to find her brother and the dangers and adventures in their fairy-tale world that they encounter along the way. To get your copy, click here.
Rook- Sharon Cameron: In a world where history is repeating itself, a deliciously intertwined story about a new French Revolution rears its head. Inspired by The Scarlet Pimpernel, this is the story of a girl who disguises herself to save the innocents locked away by the radical revolutionaries and the friends who help her along the way. I absolutely loved this book, and even though it was a thicker novel, it was well-worth the extra time spent reading it. Click here to check it out!
I'm only going to give you two, because in all honesty, I believe that Red Queen was so successful because of the difference it had from other popular YA novels. So come into the library, and I can help you find more, but for now, these two should hold you!
